Candle Care
Collapsible content
Burn time
Limit burns to 3–4 hours at a time for optimal scent throw and safety.
A unique feature of this wax is that a traditional melt pool, where the wax is fully melted to the edge of the container, isn’t necessary on the first burn. The wax will continue to melt and slide into the candle forming a full pool by the third burn.
It's time to retire your candle once 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of wax remains.
Wick Care
Before each burn, trim the wick to 1/4 inch with wick trimmers or nail clippers to reduce soot and smoke. Remove any wick pieces that may have fallen into the candle.
Placement
Place your candle on an even heat-resistant surface and keep it clear of drafts, children, and pets to protect the flame and preserve the ritual.
Extinguish
Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to maintain a clean finish; take care to avoid splashing wax.
Storage
After the wax has fully cooled, replace the lid and store the candle upright in a cool place. This will preserve its fragrance and protect the vessel from dust.
Reuse
Clean and reuse the vessel after the candle is finished.
